The papers consist of correspondence and manuscripts, primarily written by Christopher Morley. The personal correspondence is mainly letters of Christopher Morley to Helen Hare, later Cain, in which he refers heavily to his literary work, to personal friends, such as Buckminster Fuller, and personal philosophy.
