The Battle of Fayetteville Centennial Observance took place in the yard of the historic Jonas M. Tebbetts House. The house was used as a headquarters for some of the Federal troops during the Civil War. Descendants of the soldiers that fought in the battle were on hand to watch and some were part of the ceremony. The observance took place in Fayetteville, Washington County, Arkansas."
