The white stuff

Abbie wants a child more than anything else on earth. Maybe it's because she was adopted, or maybe it is because her fortieth birthday is looming; either way, her biological clock is at five-to-midnight and her husband is not sharing her sense of urgency. Foiled by mother nature and frustrated by medical science, Abbie has come to a decision. If she can't have a child of her own, then at least she can try and trace her own natural parents. She might not know how to go about it, but she knows a man who does.
