The Archival Photographic Files comprise more than 60,000 photographs documenting the history of the University of Chicago, its campus, academic programs, and community life. Photofiles are divided into five broad series: Series I: Individuals and Groups, Series II: Buildings and Grounds, Series III: Events, Series IV: Student Activities, and Series V: Sports. Original photographs housed in the Special Collections Research Center at the University of Chicago Library. Website became available to the public on Sept. 30, 2004.
