Texas across the river
When a bridegroom (Delon) accidentally kills someone at his wedding, he escapes to Texas to avoid the authorities and wait for his bride (Forsyth), a beautiful Southern belle. At the border he meets a gunrunner (Martin) and his Indian sidekick (Bishop). In a barrage of slapstick humor, the mis-matched travelers and lovers battle Indians, settlers, and each other.
