And the fifth part with the development of ethics, of justice, and of art. A conclusion will comprise the whole of the lines of direction of progress and of the general laws which have been recognized up to the present in the development of culture. The whole work comprises in the first five parts the special principles, and in the conclusion the general principles of social development, and consequently covers the whole science of culture, or what is to Auguste Comte the same thing, the whole of social science or Sociology. At the same time it will acquaint the reader with the results of this new and glorious, although unfortunately still imperfect, science.
