Programs 19-20 in a series that highlights new developments in the field of psychology and gives an overview of historic and current theories of human behavior. Uses comments from leading researchers, practitioners, and theorists, as well as demonstrations, classic experiments and simulations, current research, documentary footage, and computer animation. Program 19 tells how social psychologists attempt to understand human behavior within its broader social context, and how our beliefs and behavior can be influenced and manipulated by other people and subtle situational forces.
