"The 120 Days of Sodom, also known as the School of Libertinism, is described by the author as the most impure tale that has ever been told since our world began. The novel tells the story of four wealthy male libertines who resolve to experience the ultimate sexual gratification in orgies. To do this, they seal themselves away for four months in an inaccessible castle with a harem of 46 victims, mostly young male and female teenagers and engage four female brothel keepers to tell the stories of their lives and adventures."@en

"The 120 Days of Sodom by Marquis de Sade relates the story of four wealthy men who enslave 24 mostly teenaged victims and sexually torture them while listening to stories told by old prostitutes. The book was written while Sade was imprisoned in the Bastille and the manuscript was lost during the storming of the Bastille. Sade wrote that he ""wept tears of blood"" over the manuscript's loss. Many consider this to be Sade crowing acheivement."@en
1. Auflage Umfang: 478 Normseiten bzw. 468 Buchseiten."
