Sad Sam Sourbier was running John Bradford's ranch - six years earlier it had been John's father's wich to help the loyal Sam get a place of his own. but John was home now, just in time to smell out a side-dealing coyote named j, Worthington Skell, who had a plan to divert the river, cut off Sam's grazing privileges and ultimately fill his own pockets. Skell didn't reckon on the tough battle John Bradford was going to put up.
