Light's golden anniversary, part 1

President Herbert Hoover and Mrs. Hoover arrive in Dearborn, Michigan by train and are greeted by Thomas Edison and Henry Ford. They take a train to Greenfield Village and arrive at Smith's Creek Depot where they disembark. The group looks at a wood-burning locomotive built in 1860 by Rodgers Locomotive Works. A steam locomotive comes into view. The group walks through mud. President Hoover and Mrs. Hoover leave the Ford Estate by car, escorted by police on motorcycles. They ride in a parade in downtown Detroit and arrive at City Hall where President Hoover speaks to the crowd. President Hoover and Mrs. Hoover return to the car and continue through the parade. Guests visit various buildings in Greenfield Village.
