The Construction industry is still one of the most dangerous. According to the HSE, between April 2001 and March 2002, 79 workers died and thousands were injured as a result of construction work. Because of this bad record, the HSE have in the last few years put their focus on the construction industry in order to improve the health and safety in the sector.
