Nicholas Browne (d. 1673) was the son of Edward Browne and Jane Lide of Worcestershire, England. He was the emigrant ancestor. One descendant, Harriett Jane Hanson (1825-1911) was married to William Stevens Robinson in 1848 in Salem, Massachusettes. She was active in the Womens' Suffrage movement.
