Set two generations after the events of Strands of Starlight , the second Strand novel finds the damaged baron of Aurverelle struggling to overcome his heritage, his failures, and the forces that threaten to tear Adria apart Christopher delAurvre, baron of Aurverelle, went missing for more than three years after the disastrous crusade of Nicopolis.
