  • "A tale of how a nice young lady got into drugs. She is Laura, an upper-class black from New York who begins by selling heroin as an adventure. That puts her in touch with addicts who assure that she becomes one herself. After lots of degrading junkie scenes the adventure ends with her arrest, and to gain leniency she sells out a friend who was her supplier. A debut in fiction."
