This train was recorded on the Freedom train and in Washington on Aug. 27-28, 1963. Studs Terkel rode "this train" between Chicago and the March on Washington and recorded the thoughts and expectations of those blacks and whites going to the capital to protest discrimination. This is the 20th anniversary broadcast. The 2nd selection (cassette #58, side B) features host Dennis Wholey interviewing John Amos on this PBS syndicated TV program.
