Documentary following model Alek Wek as she returns to her childhood home in the Sudan. When she was 12, her family fled the country for the UK to escape the outbreak of war - but in the process, she was separated from her parents for two years, and her father died before reaching Britain. Accompanied by her mother - who has never since gone back to the country - she attempts to track down her long-lost aunt and reflects on the changes that have occurred.
