- "Jake Lee, the hard-driving boss for Newark's Federal Airlines, rehires his old friend, Dizzy Davis, an ace pilot, against the wishes of company supervisor, Al Stone. Dizzy, known for his daredevil flying and success with women, goes after female flyer, Tommy Thomas. To advance his romance, Dizzy feigns heart trouble and sends his best friend, Texas Clark, on a dangerous flight. Tex's plane crashes in bad weather and he dies. Against Jake's order to cancel Tay Lawson's night flight because of freezing conditions, Dizzy knocks out Tay and takes his plane. Although he dies during the flight, Dizzy manages to solve a design problem in the de-icing mechanism. Tommy can now marry Tay, who really loves her."
