The first section consists of a list of specimen numbers 3601-4604 collected by J.S. De la Cruz in Guyana in 1923. The specimens were distributed by Gleason. Entries have plant name and some collection locations. This list is continued from Field notes Vol. 94 (numbers 941-3600). After this section, the pagination of the notebook jumps from page 48 to page 189. The next section is the Ernest Golsan Holt and Wilhelm Gehriger collections from Venezuela and northern Brazil. It consists of a list of specimen numbers 1-861. Specimens 414-861 were collected by Holt and Emmet Reid Blake. Entries have plant name only, no collection locations or dates are given. Holt, Gehriger, and Blake travelled to Venezuela and Brazil in 1929-1931 as part of the National Geographic Society Boundary Survey."
