Masterson Family Papers

The papers are organized into eight series based on content. They are comprised of materials concerning construction and maintenance of Rienzi, the Masterson's art collection, charitable and civic activities, social activities including weddings, teas and dances, production of theatrical plays, memorabilia, and photographs. Series eight, entitled Family Papers, includes holiday cards, correspondence, creative works, materials related to the Cowan, Sterling, and Turner families, genealogy materials for both Mr. and Mrs. Masterson, obituaries and related material, school and travel. Includes ephemera, correspondence and photograhpy of national political figures, royalty, and Hollywood celebrities.
