When Harriet the hippopotamus decides she doesn't want to be a hippopotamus anymore, she moves to a house, but soon discovers she can no longer smile. Her friend Mouse tries dozens of things to try to make her smile but they don't succeed. Finally an owl advises her to act like a hippopotamus and when she does she finds she can smile again.
