Ten-year-old Ben wants to be just like his father, a waterman on Chesapeake Bay, however, crabs, rock-fish and oysters are not as plentiful as they once were. Ben makes friends with a scientist who is looking for the source of an oil leak in the bay and Ben decides to help.
