Dundonald

Biography of Lord Thomas Cochrane (1775-1860), a Scotsman who became a Captain in the British navy, and who (after political troubles with the Royal Navy and Parliament), accepted positions as Admiral in Chile and Brazil and later in Greece. Upon his father's death, he became the 10th Earl of Dundonald and (receiving a full pardon from the Royal Navy) was "... gazetted a Rear-Admiral of the Fleet.".
