"William Heath of Nazing, England, came to this country from London, arriving on the ship "Lion" September 16th, 1632 with his wife Mary and five children. He died May 29th, 1652, having had 2 wives. His wife Mary died December 15th, 1659. ... [Upon arriving in America] William settled in Roxbury, Mass. where he was made a freeman March 4th, 1633."--P. 4-5. "John Clark, died July 26th, 1731, aged 83 years. He married Elizabeth White. She died December 25th, 1711."--P. 25. Their son, Francis Clark, Jr., " ... moved from Middletown, Mass., to Tyringham, Berkshire County, Mass., in the year 1783."--P. 26. It is possible his parents also may have resided in Massachusetts. "Daniel Cone was possibly the first of the name in America. His birthplace has not been found, nor has the exact date of his birth been ascertained. It is an often quoted statement that he was born in Edinburgh, Scotland and came to this country in the year 1651 on the ship 'John and Sarah'. ... He married Mahitable Spencer, daughter of Jared Spencer, then of Hartford, Conn. She was born at Lynn, Mass., in 1642 , and died in Haddam, Conn., in 1691. He married in 1692, Rebecca, widow of Richard Walkley of Haddam, Conn."--P. 28. Daniel Cone died 24 October 1706 in Haddam, Connecticut. "Descendants and relatives of these three families lived in New England, New York, New Jersey, Ohio, Illinois, Iowa, Michigan, Washington and elsewhere.
