The Warren, Jackson and allied families : being the ancestry of Jesse Warren and Betsey Jackson

Chiefly ancestors, relatives, and descendants of Jesse and Betsey Jackson Warren. Jesse Warren (1784-1854) was born at Westminster, Massachusetts, the son of Jeduthan Warren (1756-1841), a Revolutionary War soldier, and Joanna Moors Warren (1761-1836). He married Betsey Jackson at Westminster in 1807. They had eleven children, 1808-1833. The family moved to West Dedham, Massachusetts, in 1809; to a farm near Dedham in 1821; to Springfield, Vermont, in 1837; to Keeseville, New York, ca. 1840; to Brandon, Vermont, in 1841; and to Glens Falls, New York, in 1844. In 1851, he retired from business and returned to the neighborhood of his boyhood home, and settled at Fitchburg, Massachusetts, where he lived the remainder to his life. Betsey Jackson Warren (1790-1876) was born at Westminster, Massachesetts, the daughter of Oliver Jackson (1757-1816) and Mary Peirce Jackson (1760-1833). She died at Fitchburg, Massachusetts. Children and grandchildren lived in New York, Michigan, Ontario, Ohio, Vermont, Massachusetts, and elsewhere.
