Diary, July-September 1864 (118 p.), of William King of Cobb County, Ga., who remained alone on his plantation to protect his property and slaves from depredations by federal forces, and papers, 1879, concerning King's claim against the U.S. government for damages by federal troops, based on his claim that he was a unionist during the war.
