Focusing on three young men, it looks at how they treat the girls they go out with. The one is physically abusive and rationalises his behaviour by resorting to cliches like "sometimes she asks for it" and "she likes to know I'm in control". The second one, while averse to hitting his girlfriend, abuses her emotionally, continually ignoring her views and putting her down.
