Mission to Mars : Viking Orbiter images of Mars

"Discs contain raw images of Mars taken by the Visual Imaging Subsystems (VIS) on NASA's twin Viking Orbiter spaceraft. The images are copies of the Experimental Data Record images and have not been processed. Processing may be required to interpret the images. Documentation includes algorithms for restoring data to its uncompressed format. Image decompression software in several programming languages is also included."
