Advanced technologies for communicating with motorists a synthesis of human factors and traffic management issues
This report identifies and discusses a number of human factors, safety, and traffic management issues associated with available and emerging technologies for communicating with motorists in their vehicle. The advantages and limitations of each of these technologies are also discussed. The intent of this report is to provide the Department with insight into those issues that may influence the design, implementation, and operations of ADIS (Advanced Driver Information Systems) in Texas.
