An account of some of the ancestors of Harry Thompson and Myra Hull
Jabez Tompson was born in 1759 at Derby, Connecuticut, the son of Lieut. Col. Jabez Thompson (1727-1776), who was killed in the Revolutionary War, and Sarah Gunn Thompson. He and his wife, Hannah Curtiss, daughter of Lieut. Oliver Curtiss and Hannah Clark Curtiss, had eight children. He was lost at sea with his oldest son in 1794. Children, grandchildren, and great grandchildren listed lived in New York and elsewhere.
