- "This report provides a detailed description of the Career Pathing journey. In Phase I, the Health Sector Labour Force and Training Needs Assessment Report (2000) recommended career pathing as a means to support recruitment and retention of health care workers, and the building of a representative workforce. Phase II established the Career Pathing sub-committee in 2001. The result was identification of best practices, establishment of a career pathing framework and identification of potential project test sites. This report documents the steps taken in the initial Phase III implementation of Career Pathing. It illustrates the methods, activities and content developed and used to inform the test sites, partners and stakeholders about the project, to maintain partnerships and to promote project communication. As well, the report describes the measures used to build capacity with the project test sites, develop competencies and facilitate readiness focus groups--Document."
