Thanking him for a manuscript, saying the correspondence seems to be an excellent persiflage of certain correspondence in German newspapers, asking him to be patient concerning the printing of his poems, mentioning an article on Berlioz that appeared in the [Neue] Zeitschift [für Musik] and Schumann's article on Hummel, saying he has spoken with Mendelssohn about the opera libretto and encloses his answer [not present], mentioning Lindpaintner's opera Die Macht des Liedes, telling Zuccalmaglio to have Henselt play for him when he comes [to Warsaw], mentioning Dr. [Friedrich] Weber from Trieste, Thibaut, Dr. Baumstark, Ernemann, asking for notes about Chopin, etc.
