The authors examine the relationship between President George W. Bush and the U.S. Congress through six case studies from the first six years of the Bush presidency, including: education reform, campaign finance reform, intelligence reform, creation of the Dept. of Homeland Security, the response to Hurricane Katrina, and the effort to reform Social Security.
