Za wszelką cenę stara się odzyskać zdjęcia. W Berlinie nawiązuje kontakt z bratem zabitego misjonarza, słynnym pisarzem Theo Haasem. Niestety, Haas zostaje zamordowany, a Marten - uznany za jego zabójcę - jest poszukiwany międzynarodowym listem gończym. Oprócz policji, tropią go także agenci CIA i dowódca najemników Hadriana, były komandos SAS. Trup ściele się gęsto.
