Presents by-election results for two positions created from resignations in the communities of Calgary-Elbow and Drumheller-Steller. The elections were held pursuant to the provisions of the Election Act, chapter E-1 of the Revised Statutes of Alberta, 2000, including amendments. The document first describes a number of new initiatives developed to facilitate the voting process, that were piloted at the by-elections. It then presents tables of official election results and a table of comparative statistics from by-elections 1979-2007.--Includes text from document.
