"In 1922 deep beneath the desert in the Valley of the Kings, archaeologist Howard Carter discovers the tomb of the boy-Pharaoh, Tutankhamun. In 1968, King Tut's corpse is x-rayed and undergoes an autopsy. The examination confirms the boy-king's age and royal status; and allows speculation on a possible cause of death. Yet, the beautiful artifacts preserved with the mummy for 3 millennia are now decomposing in the Cairo Museum, victims of modern pollution and the lack of funds, and perhaps will, to preserve them. What will be their fate??"@en
"Summary: The story behind the King Tut phenomenon, including the discovery of Tutankhamun's tomb by Howard Carter, Carter's difficulties with the Egyptian government, the reported "curse" connected with the tomb inspired by events such as the death of the expedition's sponsor Lord Carnarvon, the 1968 opening of the coffin and x-ray examination of the remains, and the currrent deteriorating condition of the priceless artifacts in the Cairo Museum."
