Papers of John Erb

The collection consists chiefly of copies of Erb's letters to newspaper editors, media and political figures and fellow Libertarians. He discusses his 1972 conversion to Libertarianism and his concern with the overriding power of big government, especially in taxes, Viet Nam involvement, gun control, and public education; and with local government problems and civic issues around Schenectady, N.Y., such as proposed Interstate 88.
