Kay Radcliffe's grandparents were Thomas Grnadville and Elizabeth Wood. Kay Radliffe's aunt was Rhea W. Ortmeyer, wife of Oliver V. Ortmeyer, a traveling salesman in Little Rock in 1928. Myrtle was from Tie Plant, which was located east of Agenta and north of the Chicago Rock Island Pacific Railway in present day North Little Rock, Pulaski County, Arkansas. Myrtle rode the streetcar to work at the Radcliffes in the Heights. Kay Radcliffe was the daughter of artist Katherine Wood Radcliffe and Jay V. Radcliffe (1891-1961), President of Peerless Engraving Company in Little Rock. She was born about 1927. Kay later married Elvin H. Peterson. The Radcliffe's began living at 1728 North Jackson in 1923 and were still living there at the time of Mr. Radcliffe's death in 1961."
