The collection consists of letters and transcripts of letters, most of them addressed to John Williamson Palmer. Much of the correspondence relates to Palmer's editorship of various anthologies of poetry and etchings particularly a "Portfolio of autograph etchings" containing studies of "aqua fortis" by noted artists.
