"Robert Morgan, a poet and author from the Appalachian Region of North Carolina, discusses his life and work with librarians and staff of Belk Library at Appalachian State University. Morgan describes his journey from a small rural farm to his professorship at Cornell University, as well as his writing career. The storytelling that is a key element of Appalachian culture influenced Morgan's decision to become a writer, as well as his writing style. Morgan shares stories from his childhood in addition to readings from his own work."
