"Todd Haimes, artistic director of Roundabout Theatre Company, discusses the challenges of planning a theatre season, such as gaining rights to plays and finding the appropriate actors to cast. He shares his thoughts on the Roundabout's recent revival of Robert Bolt's 1961 historical drama A man for all seasons. He speaks of Frank Langella's performance as Sir Thomas More, how Bolt's estate supported textual changes to the play, and critical responses to the play itself. Haimes discusses relationships with various colleagues throughout the years, and touches upon why being an artistic director who does not direct can prove helpful."
