The searching guns

The buzzards, huge and ominous, circled ominously overhead as Sheriff Dan Guthry opened his eyes. Gus left arm felt lifeless, and his shirtsleeve was matted with blood as he lay where his prisoner, Sul Rich, had left him for dead. Dan had tracked the mad-dog killer through the burning hell of the New Mexico badlands, but now the outlaw had a day's start on him. Savagery is a way of life for Sul. Three weeks earlier, he gunned down the parson and raped and murdered his daughter. Six more killings followed before Dan captured the heartless murderer - but now he's on the loose again. Sul Rich has to be stopped before he strikes again.
