This documentary of the 1990 Bigfoot Memorial Ride shows hundreds of Lakota riding horseback in 70 ̕below zero weather commemoration the victims of the Wounded Knee Massacre of 1890. A group of Lakota Sioux decided to bring their people out of mourning through a traditonal Lakota ceremony called "Washigila" (Wiping the tears). The Bigfoot Memorial Ride was that ceremony.
