- "Nollet annotated in French the first book of Beccaria's Italian text Dell'elettricismo artificiale enaturale (1753) ; the marginalia was truncated when the text was bound with 6 other printed scientific texts, including Nollet's works on icebergs and the transmission of sound through water (1743), Bouguer and Bazin on the compass (1731 and 1753, the latter with 15 plates by Striedbeck), Desaguliers on electricity (1742) and Dutour on magnetism (1746). Dutour annotated his title page in 1748 ; this volume bears his bookplate. His title on flyleaf: Pieces sur le magnetisme et electricité ; in French."
