Memory Can Be Murder

"Peaches is working on her new book "How to Survive Without a Memory", when she gets a call from Anne, a cousin she hasn't seen in years. Not surprisingly, the absent-minded sleuth doesn't recall the cousin's name at first. Still she agrees to pay her a visit- a visit which quickly turns deadly when a corpse is found stuffed in a laundry chute in a bizarre half-painted house tainted by magic and broken mirrors. The dead man, it seems, has upset a lot of people during his lifetime, including Anne. Apparently someone struck back. Now Peaches must recall every clue, not only to help her discover the killer, but to save her own flesh and blood from suspicion"--Page 4 of cover.
