"Drame social et musical d'une Angleterre punk, contestatrice et décadente. Ray vit dans un immeuble à logements multiples et gagne une maigre pitance comme vendeur dans un sex-shop. Dans ses moments de loisirs, il traîne dans des boîtes tristes à la recherche de filles peu farouches. Admirateur du groupe de "punk rock", les Clash, il arrive à obtenir un emploi dans l'organisation technique de leurs concerts (permettant la présentation d'une douzaine de chansons par les Clash). Suite à une brouille avec les musiciens, Ray devra retourner à son existence solitaire et terne. Avec Ray Gange, Joe Strummer, Mike Jones, Paul Simon, Nicki Headon."
