Lonely hearts

Based on a true story. The late 1940s. Notorious serial killers Raymond Fernandez and Martha Beck leave a bloody trail across the United States. Their lethal scam is simple: lure, swindle, and viciously murder lonely spinsters and lovelorn war widows. As the lust-fuelled lovers continue their killing frenzy, Detectives Elmer C. Robinson and Charles Hildebrandt struggle with the shocking nature of the crimes, and their own inner demons. The officers come under increasing pressure to track down the pair who would become known as the 'Lonely Hearts Killers'.
