The Sharm el-Sheikh Fact-Finding Committee (formed after the October 2000 Middle East Peace Summit at Sharm el-Sheikh, Egypt) was established to investigate the increase in violence between Israelis and Palestinians, to examine the policies and practices of both groups, and to recommend ways of ending the current violence.
