The first flight of the Wright brothers: December 17th, 1903. Professor Samuel Langley from the Smithsonian Institute recently failed in his attempt to fly an airplane. The Wright brothers, Wilbur and Orville are attempting the same experiment but with one fundamental difference in the machine. Doubts are expressed and the grave danger is clear, but the Wright brothers steadfastly believe in their design mechanics, their passion and their vision.
