This pamphlet, published in 1878, contains three sermons written by Joseph Baysmore, as well as his "Lecture on Humanity." The sermons concern the subjects of justification, baptism, and predestination. The lecture, addressed to both black and white audiences, calls on all people to work for the good of the community, for the poor to have access to land and jobs, for schools to be established, and for people to take care of one another for the sake of the whole society.
