This record group consists of two sets of records relating to the Michigan military establishment. The first set of records are newspaper clippings relating to the Michigan National Guard and labor strikes (1937). The clippings are from state and national newspapers relating to the Guard action in the labor dispute between United Automobile Workers and General Motors Corporation at Flint, Michigan in 1937. Includes occasional other disturbances by laborers. The second set of records is the general ledger of accounts (1888-1905). This is mainly a record of sales and other miscellaneous records relating to the book Michigan in war, compiled by Jno. Robertson, Adjutant General, and other compilations.
